For all our services, the data controller is Imprint Works Ltd.

Depending on the information, we use your data in a few different ways.

Your name and contact details:

We only use your name and contact details for the bare minimum. In order to perform our contract with you, we use your name and contact details to deliver your purchases to you, and to send you order updates via text and email. We also use your name and contact details to send you the United Athle newsletters.  This includes product updates, launches, offers and special collections or collaborations. As per the May 2018 GDPR compliance laws, you are able to unsubscribe from receiving these newsletters at any time with one click. Either press 'unsubscribe' at the bottom of one of our newsletters, or send us an email to info@unitedathle.co.uk where a member of our privacy policy team will be able to manually unsubscribe you.

Preventing fraud:

Fraud is unfortunate, but being aware of it and protecting our customers (and ourselves) against it is a vital part of providing a seamless online experience. In order to prevent fraud, we will use your date of birth, your name, your IP address, and your contact details.

Your payment information:

In order to perform our contract with you, we need to take your payment information so that we can complete the order process. We only use your information to take the payment and to give refunds. None of the data is kept in our system following a closed sale, aside from the type of payment method that you used.

Your contact history with us:

We know how important continuity and understanding are as a customer. So that we can continue providing you with our personalised service, we keep any contact you've had with us (including social media messages and emails) together so that we can give comprehensive customer service and support where you need it.

Purchase history and saved items:

In order to perform our contract with you, we need to retain information on certain items that you have selected to add to the basket or to be saved for later. Without this, you wouldn't be able to place any items in your basket. We will also use your purchase history in order to provide customer service should any faults occur, and refunds on items that aren't quite right for you. To ensure we're giving you what you want, we also use your purchase history to recommend selected items we believe you might be interested in. As per the May 2018 GDPR compliance laws, you are able to unsubscribe from receiving these product recommendations at any time with one click.

Information about your browsing device, and how you use our website:
When you use this website, we automatically collect information including your device type, this is used to improve our site and ensure we're optimising your experience to the highest standard. Your IP address is used to help us detect fraud when you place an online order.

Keeping your information:

To help keep our systems clear, we will only hold onto your information if we need it. If you no longer wish to be recognised as a customer, feel free to drop us a line at info@unitedathle.co.uk and ask a member of the privacy team to remove all the information we have registered to you. Please note, if we need to keep information for legal purposes or regulation requirements including our Terms and Conditions, we may be unable to fully delete your customer information.

You don't have to provide us with any of this personal information, but it's important to note that if you don't, you may not be able to shop with us online. As well as this, we won't be able to provide you with our optimised service of recommended products and personalised customer service. We fully understand that this is your decision.
